- Exchange between German and French representatives on accident insurance
- Franco-German meeting of high-ranking representatives on subjects related to work accidents and occupational diseases. On the agenda were insurance of platform workers, rehabilitation and return to work, prevention measures in the care sector, standardization and cooperation at international level.
- DGUV extends cooperation with Indian Occupational health and safety authority
- Director General Prof. Dr. Joachim Breuer (DGUV) signed a Memorandum of Understanding together with the Director General of the Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes (DGFASLI), Dr. Avneesh Singh. The Memorandum lays the foundation for further cooperation in the field of occupational health and safety.
- Chinese Labour Minister - ZHANG Jinan - visited the DGUV
- High-ranking visit to DGUV headquarters in Berlin on 10 July 2018: The Minister for Human Resources and Social Security (MoHRSS) of the Government of the People's Republic of China, ZHANG Jinan, met with General Director of DGUV, Dr Joachim Breuer to discuss current topics of social security with focus on accident insurance and rehabilitation.
- Study "Social Protection as an alternative to migration?"
- The question of which role social protection can play as a solution to counteract the causes of flight and migration in a sustainable manner is the subject of the study titled "Social Protection as an alternative to migration?" which was initiated by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).
- DGUV at the Petersburg Dialogue
- The focus of the conference in St. Petersburg on 17th April 2018 was set on rehabilitation. Dr Kemper, Director of International Relations, presented the principle of medical, occupational and social rehabilitation of the DGUV.
- Proclamation on the European Pillar of Social Rights
- During the Social Summit for Fair Jobs and Growth in Gothenburg the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Council of the EU signed an interinstitutional proclamation on the social pillar based on a recommendation issued by the Commission in April 2017.
