(27.03.2024) The number of reports of suspected occupational diseases fell by more than 60 per cent in 2023. This is according to preliminary figures from the Germans social accident insurance institutions for the past year, which their association, the DGUV, published today.
(22.03.2024) Dr Stefan Hussy, Director General of the DGUV on the Cannabis Act: "The Cannabis Act will come into force. For the world of work and educational institutions, the German social accident insurance institutions are sticking to their position: cannabis - just like alcohol and other drugs - must have no place here.
This new booklet contains an overview of extent and current development of key figures. It includes among other things information on the number of member companies, hours worked and persons insured. There is also data on reportable and fatal accidents at work and on the way to and from work given as well as new accident pensions. A list of all occupational diseases (OD) with current figures is included as well.
