Should it be necessary for exposure scenarios to be created during preparation of the chemical safety report in the course of registration, they must be attached to the corresponding safety data sheets. A safety data sheet including the exposure scenarios is termed an extended safety data sheet (eSDS).
Should you be a downstream user and receive an extended safety data sheet, you may use the substance or mixture to which it refers only under the conditions described in the exposure scenario.
Should your use of the substance not be listed in the exposure scenario, you may ask your supplier to prepare an exposure scenario for it.
Should your supplier not support your use and not prepare an exposure scenario, you must check whether you are obliged to prepare your own chemical safety report covering the relevant exposure scenario for your use.
